Contingency Planning by Nixon

While touring the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Museum this weekend with the Scouts, I was reminded of seeing this story.

William Safire wrote a speech for Richard Nixon to be used in the event that Armstrong and Aldrin were unable to lift off from the moon.
